Privacy Policy for KPAX Games

KPAX Games (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates mobile games and related services published under the developer identity associated with KPAX Games. This Privacy Policy explains how our apps handle information.

1. Information we collect

Our apps are designed to be data-light. We do not collect or store personal data from you such as your name, email address, phone number, or precise location.

Within our apps, we do not directly collect:

  • Names or contact details
  • Login credentials or passwords
  • Device contacts or address book
  • Photos, media, or files, except those required by the operating system for crash reporting
  • Precise GPS location

The only identifier that may be accessed and processed for advertising purposes is the Advertising ID (such as the Google Advertising ID on Android), in line with platform policies.

2. Advertising ID and Ad Networks Disclosure

Our apps may show advertisements using third-party ad networks (for example, Google AdMob or similar providers). These ad networks may use the device’s Advertising ID to:

  • Serve ads within our games
  • Limit how often you see the same ad
  • Detect and prevent fraudulent or invalid activity
  • Measure ad performance

We do not use the Advertising ID to personally identify you. It is used only as permitted by the relevant platform (e.g., Google Play) and applicable laws. We do not combine the Advertising ID with personally identifiable information.

By using our apps, you acknowledge that ad networks may process the Advertising ID and other non-personal signals as described in their own privacy policies.

3. Google’s Policy Compliance

Our apps are intended to comply with Google Play policies, including:

  • Google Play Developer Program Policies
  • Families Policy Requirements (if applicable to a specific game)
  • Google Play’s User Data and Ads policies

In particular:

  • We only use the Advertising ID for permitted purposes such as advertising and analytics that comply with Google’s requirements.
  • We do not use sensitive device identifiers (for example, IMEI or MAC address) for ad-related purposes.
  • We display ads that are suitable for the intended audience of the app and respect content rating guidelines.

4. User consent (GDPR & CCPA/CPRA)

Depending on your location, certain privacy laws such as the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) or California Consumer Privacy Act / California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA/CPRA”) may provide you with specific rights and require consent for certain processing.

4.1 GDPR (EEA/UK users)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, ad networks that serve ads in our apps may ask for your consent before using your Advertising ID for personalized ads.

Where consent is required, it is generally collected via a consent dialog or consent management platform provided by the ad network or its partners. You may withdraw or update your consent choices through that same interface at any time.

We rely on the following legal bases (as applicable):

  • Consent – for serving personalized ads where required by law.
  • Legitimate interests – for providing non-personalized advertising, preventing fraud, and maintaining the security and performance of our apps.

4.2 CCPA/CPRA (California residents)

Under the CCPA/CPRA, California residents have certain rights, including the right to know about and access certain information, and the right to request deletion where applicable.

Our apps do not collect personal information such as names, contact details, or other direct identifiers. The only identifier used for ads is the Advertising ID as allowed by platform policies.

No Sale of Personal Information:

  • We do not sell personal information as defined under CCPA/CPRA. We do not exchange personal data for money or equivalent value.
  • Ad networks may receive the Advertising ID to show ads, but this is done for delivering and measuring advertising in our apps and is not a “sale” of personal information by us.

5. Children’s privacy

Our general audience games are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us through one of our apps, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action.

6. Data retention

We do not maintain our own player databases from within our games. Advertising-related data handled by third-party networks is retained according to their own policies and legal obligations.

Our apps may include third-party SDKs or services (such as advertising or analytics). These third-party providers may process information in accordance with their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review those policies directly for more details.

8. Your choices and controls

You may have the following options depending on your device and region:

  • Reset or limit your device’s Advertising ID in the device settings.
  • Limit ad tracking or opt out of personalized ads through device or platform settings.
  • Manage any consent choices through the consent dialogs displayed in-app (where applicable).
